September Favourites

It's been a while since I've done a favourites post so here is my september favorites.

First up is a foundation, it's the Rimmel Match Perfection which has an spf 15 added in. When I first got this foundation I didn't like it, I felt it didn't give great coverage and didn't last long on my skin. But recently I've been using it to use up the bottle and I've fallen for it. I find it now gives my skins a nice natural dewy look, and somehow it's now lasting a good 12 hour day. I have no clue what I'm doing different now from before.
I wear shade 200 Soft Beige. £6.99 from Superdrug

Next is a blush, it's from a recently found brand that sells online and stock in Tesco, VIVO. I bought this baked blush when they had a half price sale on, before this I didn't wear blush so when buying this I didn't want to spend too much on one. I searched google and blogs for reviews on this product and it seemed that everyone reviewed one shade, that shade wasn't in stock when I bought mine so I bought it in the shade Cinnamon glow. By looking on the site they don't seem to have this shade any more, it may come back in stock. I found that this blush is greatly pigmented and you only need a couple of light dabs onto the blush with a brush to get enough for the cheeks. It gives a nice healthy glow.
£4.00 from VIVO.

The next product is a make up from that I recently bought from eBay. I have recently done an in depth review on this product here. Before this I never used brushes I always applied my foundation with my hands, but after using this brush I found that it gives my skins a nice soft look and the foundation is blended in well.
£1.85 from eBay.

Then there is a perfume, this is Calvin Klein's In2U her. I bought this perfume around sometime last year (I think) and since I bought it, it's become one of my favourite perfumes. It's a nice floral scent with a slight fruity tinge that stays well, I found it stays better on clothes than it does on skin.
£17.95 from Fragrance Direct for 100ml EDT.

Finally is a book which is from The Mortal Instruments series first is the city of bones. I recently did a full review on this book with the blurb and my opinion as part of my Bookworm Series here. I really enjoyed reading this book and when I got into it I didn't feel as long as the book looks. It's a great gripping book and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
£3.85 Paperback price and £3.08 Kindle edition from Amazon.

What were your favourites for september? Where any of these in your favourites?

  2. Hells yeah to the Mortal Instruments!
I've heard loads of good things about the Match Perfection foundation, but I've yet to try it. I actually thought that Vivo compact was a highlighter/bronzer; you wouldn't think it was a blush colour! Haha

    1. Hey, I just realised that after you said it. It was a little dark when I took the picture, but it's quite pinky actually.
