Updated Hair Care Routine

Over the last 2 months I have added blonde highlights and attempted to dip dye/ombre the ends of my hair. With them both being blonde I've added a lot of bleach into my hair and although I left it a while before I did both processes they still made my hair rougher and more on the dryer side. Now my hair has never been like this before so I didn't have a clue what to use and at the time I was just loading conditioner on and that was working. So when I went into my local poundland and picked up these two shampoos and conditioners although they are for coloured and highlighted hair I never expected them to do anything. And to my surprise they actually helped bring back my hair to how it was before, no more dry and knotted hair. In the shampoo bottle you can actually see how much has been used and that's how fast this product has worked. I would say this helped my hair within the first 2 washes of using it. I don't know if they are still available but I really want them again in the future. Please poundland.

The next product I use is the John Frieda Frizz Ease Original Formula Hair Serum (I've done  review on this here) I pump it once and then a little bit and rub my hands together and run them through my hair and ruffle it up. Sometimes I will brush it through my hair but I find just running my hands through does the job. It really does help tame down the frizz in my hair.

Last up is the heat protectant spray I use, In this picture I've placed them out wrong I should have done them in the routine I use them but oh well. This product I use last, I will spray it all over my lop layer of hair then I will flip my hair over and spray it through again.

Products I've Used Up #4

Hey guys so todays post is another installment of products I've used up. I've decided to try it out a different way this time and instead of going through each product, I'm going to do an overall review of them all and then pick at each product through that. Let me know in the comments what you think of it this way, if you prefer it or not.

So this time I've actually really liked all of the products that I've used up and I would purchase them all again in the future. With this shaving gel I just picked up whichever one was on promotion/cheapest at that time as it doesn't really bother me which one I use, but this was did well for my skin and helped keep my legs moisturised while I was shaving away. Next is the John Frieda Frizz-Ease shampoo and conditioner, I was given these to review (here) and I really loved them, they really helped out with my hair and I was able to wear it naturally when I'd used these. The two shower gels are from the body shop the top one is Atlas Mountain Rose and the second is Honeymania. I really loved both scents and they stayed on the skin. I also used up the Moringa body butter also from the body shop and my skin really loved this and I've had no dry skin problems since using this. Last up is the Sure roll on deodorant, I bought this to use at night time and it does the job, smells nice too.

Review: John Frieda Frizz-Ease Range

A few weeks ago I was contacted by a lovely lady asking if I would like to review some hair care products, after finding out it was this product line I was excited to do it and couldn't turn it down.

First up is the Shampoo and Conditioner, These two really helped de-frizz my hair. From my last shampoo and conditioner my hair was left a little dry and dehydrated, I found that these two products help bring the life back into my hair and help it become hydrated again. The main thing I've noticed with using these products is that it has really benefited my hair and has made my hair a lot less frizzy, especially when I like to wear my hair naturally, usually my bottom layer of hair frizzes when I let it wave/curl. Since using these products my natural hair has smooth, it now give my natural hair smooth curls and waves.

After using the shampoo and conditioner I used the hair serum to help reduce the frizz and help me get my natural hair smooth. This product really helped my hair and gave it a nice healthy look. Another great thing about this product is that it has heat protection within the ingredients which is great when blow drying your hair as you aren't then adding in too many products.
When trying the 3-Day Straight I was a little on the line with if it would work, normally when I straighten my hair it will be great until I go outside no matter what the weather is, it will start to slightly curl in on my shortest layer. When I tried this I followed the instruction and it actually really worked and it kept my hair straight for not only the whole first day but it lasted until I washed it (around 2-3 days).

Overall I was really impressed with these products and it's a great line from John Frieda. When I run out of the shampoo and conditioner I will definitely be buying more.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease range available here.

*These products were given to me for review, but I have not been payed to write any of this and all opinions are my own and they are honest.
