My Top Summer 5 Under £5

Due to lack of blog post yesterday I decided to put one up today instead as I found I had some extra time to put one together (meaning I wasn't being lazy for once and had my productive blogging hat on.)
I thought it would be a good idea to show you guys my top 5 items for the summer which are under £5 currently, and all bar one are under £5 all the time.

First up is the Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks blushers, which is £1.99 at boots, these have a 3 for £5 deal going on pretty much all the time in store, so that makes these items even better. Although these are cheap the Natural Collection blushes are amazing and I really recommend checking them out.

Up next is the Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencils for £3.19 from Boots. These are also currently on deal for 2 Collection cosmetics items for £5, this is bringing the shadow down to £2.50 each. These are really great for the days where you don't want to do much, you can just put them on, blend them out and you're ready to go. What's also great about these is that they're waterproof so they will stay on longer.

My current favorite tan is the St Moriz Tanning Mousse in Medium, this is £2.99 from Fragrance Direct or £4 from other stores. It got to the point this summer where I hated wearing shorts because my legs were just so pale, with that I decided to try out this fake tan. It leaves a really nice natural colour and doesn't go orange at all no matter how many layers to apply. This is the 'dupe' version of St.Tropez.

My favorite shower gel scent for the summer has to be Moringa from The Body Shop for £4. This is my favorite scent from The Body Shop and I've had this in the body lotions and mists as well. The scent from this stays on your skin so you can still smell it throughout the day.

And finally is the item which is currently £4.98 but is on half price sale and is usually £9.99. I know this is a little bit of a cheat item considering that but I really like it and I wanted to add it in while is was still half price. This is the Olay Complete BB Cream in Light, this also has added SPF 15 in which is great for when you're out in the sun. This gives a light coverage and is light on the skin.

What are you're favorite summer items?

The Body Shop Hair Chalks

I've just recently seen that The body shop are bring out their own range of hair chalks. There will be two colours available the pink which is named Tickle me pink which is ideally for lighter hair shades and blue which is named Falling for Blue which is ideally for darker hair shades. Now I'm really excited for these to come out as I'm dying my hair blonde within the next hopefully. I can't wait to add in new shades to my hair and they can be easily washed out.
They will be available through the body shops 2014 spring collection and will be retailing for £5 each.

These are not my images, and they were found through the body shops twitter images. Credit to all owners.

Products I've Used Up #4

Hey guys so todays post is another installment of products I've used up. I've decided to try it out a different way this time and instead of going through each product, I'm going to do an overall review of them all and then pick at each product through that. Let me know in the comments what you think of it this way, if you prefer it or not.

So this time I've actually really liked all of the products that I've used up and I would purchase them all again in the future. With this shaving gel I just picked up whichever one was on promotion/cheapest at that time as it doesn't really bother me which one I use, but this was did well for my skin and helped keep my legs moisturised while I was shaving away. Next is the John Frieda Frizz-Ease shampoo and conditioner, I was given these to review (here) and I really loved them, they really helped out with my hair and I was able to wear it naturally when I'd used these. The two shower gels are from the body shop the top one is Atlas Mountain Rose and the second is Honeymania. I really loved both scents and they stayed on the skin. I also used up the Moringa body butter also from the body shop and my skin really loved this and I've had no dry skin problems since using this. Last up is the Sure roll on deodorant, I bought this to use at night time and it does the job, smells nice too.

What's In The Body Shop's Ultimate Brush Collection?

Hey guys I got this collection for christmas from my parents, with the brushes being expensive you could say that this was one of my main presents. I would've never of bought these for myself as I've found so many good cheaper makeup brush dupes from various places before (Poundland and Ebay) but I was so happy when I received these. So I decided to blog about what brushes I got in the Ultimate brush collection from The Body Shop.

I have yet to use these brushes they all look so nice I'm delaying using them. They all feel so soft though and although I'm delaying I can't wait to use them.

The Body Shops Bushes can be found here.

If you would like a full review on these brushes when I've been using them let me know.

Body Shop Lip Balm Review

The two lip balms that I have are Born Lippy in Pink Berry and Plum.

I really like this range of lip balms from The Body Shop, I first bought the Pink Berry one and used it pretty much everyday, it gives a nice subtle shine to your lips, a slightly tint of pink while moisturising your lips. And the Berry lip balm does the same but instead giving a slight purple tint, it is quite buildable so if you wanted more purple on the lips it's easily achievable.
These two have to be some of the best lip balms I've used in a while, you can noticeably feel the difference in your lips after you've added them. I know some lips balms can be quite sticky and hair can get stuck in it with the wind, but I've found these aren't sticky and it doesn't result in hair in your mouth.
I love that the berry lip balm gives a purple tint, it's great for the fall/winter season and it's not to overpowering if you're not used to wearing lipstick.

Products I've used up #3

I bought this candle from Primark last christmas time and at the time I had a few candles that I wanted to burn before this. When I eventually got around to burning this it was summer time. It's one of my favorite vanilla smells ever. If I remember correctly it was around £4 at the time. If I went to primark again and this candle and more where there I would buy some more.

The bottle on the left is in the scent Moringa and the one on the right is Passion fruit. These have to be my two favorite scents from the Body shop currently. I hadn't heard of  or seen the Passion fruit range until I went into my local store and seen it in a sale, and I have to say I haven't seen or heard of it since. I don't know if it's a seasonal smell or a range that has stopped, but they both smell really nice and I want more.

I bought this in Tesco quite a while ago and it lasted me a good while, using it every night. It's definitely a good night time moisturiser to have over the winter time when my skin is getting drier. You can instantly feel the cream sinking into your skin.

This is the second packet that I've had of these face wipes. I have to admit that I bought them both at the same time, otherwise I don't think I would have got the two separately. In the first packet I found that the top half of the wipes were on the drier side, I don't feel my face is being cleaned unless it has some moisture to the wipe, these didn't have it. The second packet was better than the first, but overall I didn't feel they did much for my skin apart from remove my make up and the drier ones didn't do that. I originally bought these because I wanted to trial out some different ones from my staple Pure range wipes, but I will be sticking to them in the future. Sorry Superdrug.

Everyday Makeup

Here's the products thats I use on a daily basis. Because I apply my primer in my room and then apply my make up in the bathroom because of better lighting at 7 in the morning I forgot to add it it, but I use The body shops Moisture it primer which is great for normal - dry skin.

After the primer I use Rimmel Wake me up foundation in the shade soft beige (200).

If I have any redness or pimples that need covering I use Avons Ideal Flawless concealer stick in medium.

As I don't have oily/combination skin I don't really need power but I feel more complete when I've used it, I use 2true smooth matte powder in shade 1/2.

For blush I use VIVO's baked blush in Cinnamon Glow with it's slight shimmer it doubles up as a good highlighter too.

My favourite mascara of the moment is NYC's City Curls Curling Mascara in Carbon Black.

To highlight my brow bone and the inside of my eyes I use this Rimmel Colour Rush Quad in Smokey Brun.

Get Ready For Christmas: Gifts For Mum

1-2-3-4-5-6

It's always a good time to start buying presents for the mums since they are some of the most difficult people to buy presents for after dads.

1&2. I really like these gift sets that the body shop have done for christmas, the new 3 winter scents are really nice too.
3. I like this gift, it's a personalized jewelry box. I really like the different take on it with the cut out heart to view the jewelry.
4. This isn't really a present, it's a greetings card, it could easily be used for mothers day but I think it would be a nice little light hearted present/card for christmas.
5. I find these cups really funny, they're light hearted but not rude. 'Go away I'm tweeting' 'Go away I'm reading'. I'd have this as a door sign if I had a door for my room.
6. My mum loves her Kindle and she doesn't have a very excited cover for it just a green slip case. This would be nice for anyone who has a Kindle but wants to make it look nice and attractive as well.

NOTD: Kate Spade New York Noir by nails inc.

This polish was in the latest issue of Glamour magazine as an added freebie. Along with this colour there are 3 other colours available, a gold, a silver and a red. I chose this because everyone loves a good black colour.

Also in this months Glamour magazine you can get a Body shop Joy card, which could contain either of 3 different amounts £3,£15 or £100 which you can spend in store.
What's even better is that you don't have to use the card up this month you have until 21st(I think, it's around that date) of December to use it. You can't just go into store and check the amount you have to check while you are purchasing your items. Mine had £3 on it.
The current issue of Glamour has Katy Perry on the cover.
