Would You Rather... Beauty Edition.

I found this TAG on beautycrowd.com the other day and thought I'd give it a go.

1. Would you rather be able to apply eyeliner perfectly or be able to contour like Kim Kardashian?

Eyeliner perfectly, it will forever be the bane of my life. I can never get it right. 

2. Would you rather wear foundation which is two shades lighter or two shades darker?

As I'm pretty much the palest shade in most foundations I would have to go two shades darker.

3. Would you rather wear no lipstick ever again or no eyeliner ever again?

I don't really wear eyeliner often due to my lack of skill, so I'll say no eyeliner.

4. Would you rather give up your foundation or your mascara?

Foundation, thankfully my skin is pretty good minus the random breakout. So even on days when I don't need foundation I will make sure to wear mascara.

5. Would you rather apply your makeup yourself with no mirror whilst on a bumpy car journey or ask a 5 year old child to do it?

I think with the car situation the main thing I would struggle with would be mascara but apart from that I would be fine, So I'll go with the car one.

6. Would you rather wear exactly the same makeup every single day for the rest of your life or drastically change your makeup every single day for the rest of your life (even if it doesn't suit you!)?

I'm going to be boring on this one and say same makeup everyday.

7. Would rather have dodgy brows or have patchy fake tan?

Patchy fake tan, it can be hidden.

8. Would you rather have perfectly white teeth or have your perfect hairstyle?

Perfect hairstyle, my teeth colour doesn't bother me much they are a pretty good colour as they are.

9. Would you rather wear the same colour nail varnish for the rest of your life or be able to change the colours of your varnish whenever you like but it’s always a little bit smudged?

Smudged, It's pretty much like this anyway. I can't sit still long enough for it to dry 100%. 

10. Would you rather have lots of scented body and perfume products that smell amazing to you but to everyone else you smell like pine tree car air freshener or have products that smell average to you but smell incredible to those around you?

First option as long as I think I smell good that's all that matters.

Christmas TAG!

1. What time of year do you start your Christmas shopping?
Normally quite late, I tried to start early this year but I ended up just buying one present then and the rest after the 2nd week of December.

2. Do you have any Christmas traditions?
To be honest, I don't think I actually do. When my brother was younger he used to sleep in my room in the attic to listen to santa on the roof, but now not really.

3. Do you have any festive recipes for food or drink that you limit solely to the Christmas season to share?
I like to add peppermint to my hot chocolates, but since this year I've started to do that throughout the year now.

4. Do you have a favourite Christmas song?
Underneath the Tree, I really like the michael buble version.

5. What about a favourite Christmas movie?
Love Actually.

6. What's your Christmas wrapping strategy? 
Just wrapping paper and no fancy bows or tags, although I really want to do that one year.

7. Describe your Christmas tree.. How tall? Real or artificial? How is it decorated?
About 5ft tall with white lights, gold tinsel and gold and white baubles. 

8. Do you decorate just the tree or other areas of your house?
Both.

9. What do you wear on Christmas day?
It varies from year to year, sometimes Pajamas and sometimes I dress up. 

10. What's your dream gift this year?
A Horse

Autumn Tag

1) Favourite thing about Autumn 

I love the knitted jumpers and hats. Another thing I love it that it's still sunny, but there's a chill in the air with the colours changing.

2) Favourite thing to do in Autumn

When I'm not complaining about the cold at 6-8am in college and I'm at home, there's nothing better than a hot chocolate with a blanket and a film as the nights start to get darker.

3) Do you have any Autumn traditions?

Not really, just spend as much time together as a family. It's hard over the summer as everyone works, so autumn and winter is family time.

4) Do you have any halloween plans this year?

I'm an absolutely scaredy cat when it comes to ghosts and scary things, so I normally try to stay in and hide away.    

5) Favourite scent/candle?

I love anything vanillary. 

6) What's your favourite thing to wear?

Either jeans with a knitted jumper or a dress with thick tights and a jumper/hoody.

7) What's one thing you will miss about Summer?

The warmth. 

8) What's your favourite Autumn beverage?

Hot Chocolate, but if I go to a starbucks or a coffee shop throughout the autumn/winter I really want try more drinks.

9) What's your favourite lipstick for Autumn?

I've never been one to wear lipstick never mind in the winter but recently I have bought a dark red/berry lip stain (which can be seen in my last fragrance direct haul) that I will try out this year.

10) What's your favourite eyeshadow for Autumn?

All year around I just typically go for neutral colours.

11) What's your favourite nail polish shades for Autumn?

I will normally go for anything that's darker, I like a good black colour though.
