Review: Fibre Lashxtend mascara

As I received this mascara as a free gift in the July issue of Glamour magazine, as everyone does I thought it wasn't going to be that great. I hadn't used any Model Co products so I didn't know what it would be like.

What It claims to do:
The rich, glossy formula combined with innovative, inbuilt lash fibres gives you a false lash effect from every angle. FIBRE LASHXTEND lengthens and amplifies your own lashes to give you the ultimate length in an instant.
This unique technology ensures voluptuous clump-free lashes that are smudge and tear proof. The water resistant formula delivers brilliant extension and high definition impact and unlike many other types of mascara, FIBRE LASHXTEND is dissolvable in warm water, wiping away with ease and saving you from panda eyes.
  • Creates incredibly long, high impact lashes.
  • Inbuilt lash fibres create false lash effect.
  • Clump-free, non-flaking formula.
  • Water resistant.
  • Easy, no-mess removal.
And I have to say that it ticks all the boxes with what it claims to do. While using it's become my favourite mascara and it's the first I reach for on a daily basis. Although it does lengthen your lashes it doesn't make them look unnatural in any way.
As this isn't a waterproof mascara I wasn't expecting it to be that great when it came to my eyes watering. It gets windy when I'm in college  or when I get a cold, my eyes water and I wasn't expecting it to make it through this. I have had to walk around with mascara on one eye and not the other because of this before. But this mascara lasted and I was amazed. Sometimes when you forget you have mascara on and you rub your eye, it doesn't smudge and it stays in place .

It even has a mirror on the back, you can apply it anywhere.

The top picture is with mascara on one eye and nothing on the other and the bottom picture is mascara on both eyes.

You can buy it for £28 from the Model Co website. Or buy 2 for £8.95 with free P+P from Click Fragrance. (Amazing deal and I will be buying this one soon).
